" After hearing so much about Spade, I finally decided to try it out yesterday with a few friends. We opted for a late lunch, and I ordered the pepper shrimp and festival. The shrimp were average—not as spicy as I hoped—but the festival was absolutely scrumptious! We had a great time playing pool while waiting for our food. " Underwhelmed by my experience. The drinks tasted watered down, which was disappointing. I also tried to order the poutine since I heard great things but found out they were out of fries, so they offered wedges instead. The cod fritters were indeed a highlight though—crispy and flavorful. The ambiance was nice, and I enjoyed the music, but the service just didn’t meet my expectations this time around. " This was my second attempt at visiting Spade, and I was pleasantly surprised! The first time the service was lackluster, but this visit was way better. The chicken fried rice had a unique twist to it, and everything was well-cooked. I still think they could improve their drink selection at the bar, but overall a vast improvement. I left satisfied! " Had an incredible night at Spade for a friend's surprise birthday party! The decorations were beautiful, and the food setup was perfect. I thought the jerk pork was some of the best I’ve ever had, and the portions were quite generous. Music was on point all night! However, getting our drinks took longer than expected.
